In January we held our first monthly blog hackathon for the year with 11 attendees and participants in this month’s Great Blog Challenge created posts on the theme “What if”.
This month’s report
January was a bit of a slow month for entries into the Challenge, but great posts nonetheless. Regardless of whether we have a great challenge month with lots of posts or a month where our challenge participants aren’t as motivated, I will report on the results in any case. Every published post is an achievement and worth celebrating!
In March I’ll be changing the competition model a little to open the door to more businesses wanting to leverage the Great Blog Challenge community for their own challenges, so stay tuned for that.
Here are the posts by this month’s eligible entrants
- Candice McPhail urges you to get off the “What if Worries” train.
- Matt Hurley wants you to stop making New Year’s Resolutions you won’t keep and just commit to tomorrow.
- Shaw Innes ponders: What if teams incorporated the words “Yes and…” into meetings?
Rosie Odsey is on a winning streak. In this month’s post, she encourages readers to do 12 things that terrify them in 2019. I really enjoyed Rosie’s originality and her story about doing a stand-up comedy show definitely evoked terror in me, setting up the rest of the post beautifully–A terrific example of a “What if” post! Rosie has won an Amazon gift card.
